Workshop Terms and Conditions
Payment Terms
Workshop Fee: The workshop fee does not include travel or accommodation expenses, which are the responsibility of each participant.
Deposit: A 40% non-refundable deposit is required upon registration to secure your place. This deposit confirms your commitment to attend and allows us to plan materials and studio space accordingly.
Balance Payment: The remaining balance is due 30 days prior to the workshop start date. You will receive an email reminder with payment instructions. Failure to pay the balance by the due date may result in forfeiture of your place and deposit.
Payment Methods: We accept credit card payments and cash payments made directly to one of the instructors. All major credit cards are accepted.
Cancellation & Refund Policy
45+ days before workshop: Full refund of balance paid, minus the non-refundable deposit
30-44 days before workshop: 50% refund of balance paid, deposit forfeited
Less than 30 days before workshop: No refund available, but a workshop credit valid for 12 months may be issued at our discretion
No-shows: No refund or credit available
Workshop Cancellation by Instructor: In the unlikely event we must cancel a workshop due to insufficient enrollment, illness, or unforeseen circumstances, all payments will be refunded in full within 14 business days.
Transfers: Workshop places may be transferred to another person before the start date with written notice.
Workshop Policies
Materials: All materials listed in the workshop description are included in the fee unless otherwise stated. Students are welcome to bring additional personal materials.
Attendance: Workshops begin promptly at the scheduled time. Late arrivals may miss important instruction and no reduction in fee will be offered.
Health and Safety: Students must inform us of any health conditions, allergies, or physical limitations that may affect their participation. We reserve the right to ask students to leave if their behavior disrupts the learning environment.
Photography: We may take photographs during workshops for promotional purposes. Please inform us if you prefer not to be photographed.
Insurance Recommendation
We strongly recommend that all participants obtain appropriate personal insurance coverage before attending our workshops. While we maintain a safe studio environment, participation in art workshops involves inherent risks, and we cannot be held responsible for personal injury, illness, or loss of personal property.
Recommended coverage should include:
Personal accident and medical coverage
Personal property protection (including art supplies and completed artwork)
Trip cancellation/interruption insurance (particularly for participants traveling from other cities or countries)
Personal liability coverage
For international participants or those traveling significant distances, comprehensive travel insurance is particularly advisable. Please consult with your insurance provider to ensure adequate coverage for workshop activities and travel.
Note: This is a recommendation only. Insurance coverage remains the sole responsibility of each participant, and workshop fees are not refundable due to insurance-related claims or coverage gaps.
Intellectual Property
The instructional content shared during workshops are proprietary. Students may not record (audio/video) sessions without written permission or use the instruction content for commercial teaching purposes without prior agreement.
General Terms
Minimum Enrollment: Workshops require a minimum number of participants. If minimum enrollment is not met 21 days prior to the workshop, we reserve the right to cancel with full refunds.
Schedule Changes: We reserve the right to make minor adjustments to workshop schedules or content. Significant changes will be communicated with reasonable notice.
Force Majeure: We shall not be liable for any failure to perform due to circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to natural disasters, government restrictions, or public health emergencies.
Governing Law: These terms are governed by the laws of Spain. Any disputes will be resolved through local courts or mediation.
Agreement: By registering and paying the deposit, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to these terms and conditions.
